Technically I was unemployed while at home with no guarantee of a job. In general I always got a call sooner or later for another trip. Once I was watching the 10PM local news and got a call. The dispatcher wanted me to catch a flight out at 6AM the next morning to Singapore. Yes, I was able to do it because I always had my seabag ready and all my paperwork in order for a quick departure.
