What would be some good approaches to writing a browser extension that allowed the browser to view *only* HTML pages that contain links to a particular type of file (PDF)?

I have a group of html pages that run a javascript to open a website in a new tab then calls itself to open (reload) the next page and the next until it runs out of pages to call or Firefox gets upset about the number of tabs open. I use it to visually check all my websites everyday which is why the reload is set at 180 seconds. Name of Page
