Why is my Canon MG6150 printer not printing the content of a PDF I have completed? It prints everything except the black type. Any other documents print the black perfectly.

Because you are sending the page(s) as RGB or CMYK. Black is a combination of CMYK (additive values) or RGB (subrtactive values) but will ultimately end up at the printer as CMYK. Convert your image to grayscale and then it will be printed as a black and white image.

Type on PDF: All You Need to Know

If there are pixels in the photo you wish to change or cut out, convert back to grayscale before printing. As the RGB information is converted to CMYK, any additional images such as text will end up as a black and white image instead of the RGB image. Here are some things you may want to print instead of the RGB-CMYK conversion. Print the picture and check the colors to see if they look correct. If they don't look correct then either add some color correction or make a white background, then print the RGB or CMYK. Here's a color palette example of the possible differences between the two output images.  R= Green G= Red B= Blue This example is pretty much always a correct result.  So what if you have a lot of black and dark colors on your photograph or the actual image you've printed? It's fairly simple — just go with the gray.
